Ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater? An intro dive is the easiest way to find out. You do not need any diving experience or certificate, just curiosity, a normal level of fitness and a willingness to try something new.You start with a short briefing from your PADI instructor, who explains the basics in plain language: how the equipment works, how to breathe, how to equalize your ears and how to communicate underwater. Before the dive itself, you practice the key skills in shallow water, so you feel comfortable before going any deeper. Then you head into the Red Sea with your instructor, who stays with you throughout. The dive is slow and relaxed, at a site chosen to suit beginners and the conditions on the day. What you see underwater depends on the day, and your instructor makes the final call on where and how you dive. All the diving equipment is provided. If you enjoy it, ask your instructor about continuing with the PADI Open Water Diver course. Before you dive, you will complete the PADI medical questionnaire. If you answer yes to any question, a doctor's approval is required first.
